Our Privacy Philosophy

At Aila Squad, we believe that the ultimate security starts with not holding your data at all. This policy outlines our commitment to keeping lalapass secure, private, and entirely under your control.

1. Serverless by Design

Lalapass is a purely local-first application. We do not own, operate, or maintain any servers to store your passwords or personal information. Your data remains where it belongs: encrypted on your own device.

2. Military-Grade Encryption

Every piece of information is guarded by AES-GCM 256-bit encryption, the global gold standard for data protection.
Your master key is stored exclusively within your device's secure enclave. Because we have no central server, even Aila Squad cannot access your vault.

⚠️ Non-Recoverable Access

Since your master key is never transmitted to us, we have no way to recover or reset it. Please keep your master key safe; if lost, your stored data will be permanently inaccessible.

3. Your Data, Your Control

We provide you with full ownership of your encrypted data through flexible management options:

Manual Backup & Restore: Export your encrypted database to the Files app, or share it via email and messaging platforms for safekeeping.
Persistent Encryption: Your exported backups remain protected by the same AES-GCM 256-bit encryption. They are unreadable without your master key, even if shared.
Optional iCloud Sync: Cloud backups are handled exclusively within Apple’s secure environment. We stay out of it.

4. Zero Data Tracking

We don't collect, track, or analyze your personal usage. We have nothing to sell or share with third parties. It's security in its purest form.
